Using Your Coordinator Access to Build Y

Here you will find a list of links, each of which provides you with instructions on how to build that area of your Web site. You will be able to easily create, update and edit information in each area of your Web site.
Basic Neighborhood Association Information:
The title of your Web site and the streets forming your neighborhood's boundaries can be added/changed here. The "Become a Member" section allows you to have an online recruiting form for your association. If your residents are automatically members of the association, or you feel you do not need this function, simply click the box at the bottom of the page titled "Click here if you do NOT want the 'Become A Member' link to appear".
ZIP Codes Within Your Neighborhood Association Boundaries:
Neighborhood Link Web sites are set up so that people can search for their neighborhood by zip code. With this link, you can add as many zip codes that are part of your neighborhood.
Manage Coordinators:
This link lists the people who have the ability to manage the site. You must okay the addition of any person as a coordinator.
Neighborhood Association Contacts:
This link houses all contact information about your neighborhood leaders. Be sure to fill in the information here so that your neighbors can contact you.
Community Calendar:
This link contains a list of all the events posted on your site. You have the ability to delete any that aren't appropriate.
Talk About It:
As with the "Community Calendar" section, this is the listing of all discussion postings and you have the ability to delete them here.
About Your Neighborhood Association:
This link allows you to add information to the "Association Info" section of the Web site. You can post your association meetings, list your board of directors, or your by-laws and covenants. A photo or neighborhood logo can be added here as well.
Neighborhood Association Newsletter:
This link will allow you to post your neighborhood association's newsletter. Articles can be copied and pasted from another file or typed in directly. You may also add a photo for each article.
About Your Neighborhood:
This link allows you to post information about your neighborhood to the "Neighborhood Info" area of the site. A photo or graphic can be added here, as well.
Schools Within Your Boundaries:
The Neighborhood Link staff has listed the public schools in your area. Click on each of the school types and then click the box next to schools in your neighborhood. You cannot add extra schools in this area, but if there is a private school that you would like added to the list, call or email the Neighborhood Link offices and we will add it.
City Council:
The Neighborhood Link staff lists all the City Council members in your metro area here. Click in the box next to the City Council member(s) for your neighborhood. If you need additions made to the list, give us a call or an email.
Add-a-Page:
This link lists the extra pages added to your site. Residents request from you the ability to add a page or pages. You have the ability deny them access and also to delete or make changes to the pages listed here.
Add-a-Link:
This link lists the links to other Web sites on your site. The instructions for neighbors adding information in this section are the same as the Add-A-Page.
Add-a-Fax:
This link lists the faxing pages listed on your site. The instructions for neighbors adding information in this section are the same as the Add-A-Page.
